In Minecraft, there are a number of reasons why it is difficult to achieve absolute realistic gameplay. One of them, of course, is textures. In the real world, it is hard to imagine that all walls, floors and other elements of structures will consist of blocks and clear contours.

The author of Connected Textures Mod thought about it and decided to change the connection points of blocks: now they will be connected without clear boundaries to look as realistic as possible. Below are screenshots of the new design.
